Virtual Business of the Year Awards 2010 Finalist
22 December 2010

Anna IsaacsAgain this year, Office Lifeline reaches the finals in a national online business award amidst some stiff competition from a wide range of online businesses.

The Virtual Business Awards are run by People Per Hour, a Freelance Job Site, and recognise companies and freelancers alike.  As with many such sites, community and social media play a strong role in their marketing, and now so it seems in the judging of awards too.

Office Lifeline missed out on winning, but reaching the finals was an interesting experience. Anna Isaacs, Office Lifeline's founder commented: “In calling on our community of supporters to vote for us, we realised for the first time just how many people are fans of what we do. It felt great to see and hear all that support."

Office Lifeline's Denis Pelych commented: The judging appeared to be a mix of expert panel, community voting and Twittering. I'm still unsure how they reached a decision, but it was fun reaching the finals and taking part anyway."

We may not be the best Twitterers on the net, but we are very happy with the buzz of real people we have around us... we'd like to thank every one of our supporters who took the trouble to vote for us.
